GriefShare

St. Luke’s support group meets weekly on Thursdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM in room 102, you are welcome to join anytime.
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone. Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief towards healing and hope for the future. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief. Stephen Ministries

Stephen Ministry is an opportunity for congregation members to be involved in a one-on-one caring ministry for those who are going through a difficult time in life—grief, divorce, job loss, illness, or relocation to name a few. Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
St. Luke’s Stephen Ministry’s mission statement is: to grow in faith and love as we bring the healing love of Jesus to hurting people.
